This poor cat.

I’m starting to notice some weight loss, and he’s been throwing up his food again, no matter how small the portions are.  He’s in and out of the house so I haven’t been monitoring his stool because he never goes in the litter box any more.

Also, and probably unrelated, he has really tiny little scabby bumps in lots of places on his body.  Some searching on the net says those are probably due to an allergy to fleas, and though I don’t have any bites and I don’t get them in the comb any longer, I was scratching his chin the other day and saw one in his fur.  Gave him some 30-day liquid-on-the-neck flea treatment but I guess it didn’t work?

I didn’t find him in the first place and I don’t have the money to spend at a vet, but I want him to be healthy and retain food.  I could try another dry food in case it’s allergies but bags are expensive.  I’m going to go back to wet food for a bit and try to keep him inside; if he has diarrhea again (heaven forbid), I’ll know, and it may be a worm in his stomach/intestines?

He really is a great pet and if I wasn’t going on co-op I would keep him with me and take him back to Cincinnati and a new apartment in January, but it’s just not feasible unless I got a job somewhere that I’d have to get an apartment and that place let me have pets.  He needs a good home, but unfortunately he also needs some medical attention.

Saw Inception today

Thanks for the ticket Dayyyvviiddd.  It was pretty darn good; I enjoyed it.

I’ll obsess over totems and dreams for a few days, most likely.

Lifting

I don’t really have the stamina or will power to get myself to where I’d really like to be.  It’s been nice working out T & Th with Kyle and I will continue that, but going more often than that or buying protein shakes and trying to gain mass just won’t happen.

The look I’d like is too far from the lifestyle I want… haha.  T & Th is still a lot for me, based on my history, and I’m glad I’m keeping it up.  I see/feel small changes, but I’m not really getting any better at benching or anything measurable.

Conflicted Feelings For The Day

• Had lunch, worked out, played basketball, pool, and darts with Kyle from noon-5.  That was nice; I like that we’re back to seeing each other often.  Feeling happy.
• Done with the midterms (though I should start studying for the second HTC test) and I know this is going to be a slow work-week for me.   I don’t care if I’m putting it off, I’ll take what I can get.  Feeling relieved/lazy.
• I’m being a complainer which is frustrating (to me and those on the butt end of it), and a shoddy friend, but that’s mixed with wanting to be around other people and missing old times.  Feeling annoying/conflicted/lonely.

I’m laying in bed and I don’t know what to do with myself.  I’ve seen so many movies due to all of this alone time.  I wish I was in Brian’s studio (and could bring all my interior friends with me), or that liked drinking, or dodgeball.  I’m just not any fun, and I don’t know how to be.

I need to get my camera out and take some damn pictures.  That always makes me feel better.
