if i were to buy you a token gift, what’d you choose?
Oh dear, I don’t even really know what that means? If by token you just mean some little thing to show friendship, I always love things from people’s “places”… something I don’t have here or something from some little shop that you like or something that has a story that’s relevant to you. And handmade stuff, always.
What did you do all day?
WORKED
OCMC- Hypothetical: You meet and marry the man of your dreams named Joseph Gordon (he looks like Gaspard, creates music like Sufjan, and designs like Louis). You two decide to have kids through a surrogate mother. You are overjoyed at the birth of your adorable identical triplet boys (wow)! Q1) Who would you prefer to have been the sperm donor, you or Joseph (assuming he doesn’t care either way); Q2) What would you name each of the boys (first & middle names); Q3) If Joseph asked you to postpone your career dreams and stay home to raise the kids, how would you respond; Q4) Would you live in a big converted loft building in downtown Chicago or in a house in one of the suburbs and, finally; Q5) When the triplets got old enough, would you consider having them do a lip dub to the song “For the Longest Time?”
1. It doesn’t matter to me. It would be so neat to have my genetic line continued but I’d probably rather my seriously gorgeous and talented husband be the genetic father of our children.
2. Umm… perhaps.. I don’t know, I can’t pick out full names, but overall for first and middle, I like older names: Caleb, Finn, Jed, Jesse, Henry, Morris, Christopher.
3. If it was reasonable and he was getting better jobs than I or something, I would definitely do it. It wouldn’t be as easy as that in the real world, but in the hypothetical world where one of us just had to decide to stay home, I would.
4. Big loft building forever. My kids will be urban kids. If it’s a “suburb” then it had better be a ring of the city, rather than way out with winding streets massive yards. I like the idea of the kid-community in suburb life, but I think I’d either go rural or urban.
5. Of course.
