Hahaha, you’re so cute. Technically you would say “perfect my english” with the emphasis on the FECT instead of the PER, but this is deliciously ironic and funny. Also, about you coming to school in the states, I think that would be a killer experience. I don’t know if this is the place to go, and haven’t done any research, but maybe just getting out of germany would be a nice change of culture.

So, the miniUSB port on my Western Digital MyBook external harddrive came off, and fell inside. I got it out, but the problem is that it came off of the motherboard (or whatever this thing is). Does anyone know where I should look to get this fixed? I assume I need a tiny, tiny soldering iron, because it’s got four little metal feet.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post anything about Ellen and Portia. Not because I’m one of those stupid gays against same-sex marriage or something. But just because I didn’t want to sound corny wishing them well on a blog.

But I do.

And they look awesome.

If things work out for them, it might prove that GLBT celebrity marriages last longer.

I want to cry, because i feel like that would make a lot of the things I’m feeling either go away, or be a little bit better in the morning.

I want my friends that are away to come back, and I don’t want to have problems with them. I want them to be more mature about things, and I want overthink things less.

I want to move into my new house, and I wish I could take my goddamned cat with me or leave him here where he would be happy.

I want class to be over so I can stop dealing with people who are incompetant, or absent, or completely sophomoric about every facet of their lives. And I don’t think I’ve ever used that word any better than I have right now, to describe these imbiciles.

I want to go on this family vacation without any fighting, which I know is impossible, and that makes me want to punch something; knowing that it’s inevitable that I will say something to hurt my mom’s feelings without quite knowing what I did, or that she will treat me in a way that I’m not used to because I’ve been living on my own, and it will be this constant backlash between the two of us. I will try so hard not to start anything, and it’ll happen anyways.

I want to find out how to make this goddamned website for my mamaw that she wants me to do, and I don’t have any TIME.

I want to be with people without any complications, and play in fields and take pictures of eachother attempting cartwheels and stare at the clouds while listening to a song that makes me cry. And I can’t, beacuse my school takes up so much time that fun has to be scheduled and enjoyment is regimented.

Sometimes I wish nobody I knew read this so I could say whatever I wanted. Then, I recall Harriet...

Well, sleeping through class allowed me to have a long and involved dream. Like most of mine, I wasn’t in it, but rather, I was the narrator.

It all revolved around the fact that this young man beat this prince in a battle of some sorts, so he was going to marry the princess and the prince would have to find some other kingdom. The prince’s name was David, but he looked like Eric Lodwick, and at the same time I felt like it was my friend Paul. I love how dreams can do that. The princess looked black but it was my friend Lauren. I’m not sure who the young man was, but he sure was charming. There was a scene near the end where they were saying goodbye to the mother of their resident gryphon (I think the young man used her as a mode of transportation as well as being her friend), and everyone was holding the younger gryphon back so that she wouldn’t leave with her mom. It was a long and tearful goodbye… so weird. Also, Hannah Mai was the gryphon… somehow.

All of this is 100% true. I <3 my dreams.

Belgium is our sister city, so Cincinnati does a floral carpet in fountain square as a nod to them. I love going the day they take it apart because you get free flowers! This year was a butterfly (a theme in Cincinnati in general this year), and the woman who designed it put in mulch paths so you could walk through it. I liked it.
